Bodega Akutain is a small 6.5ha family estate set up 40 years ago and now run by second generation Jon Peñagaricano’s. It is located 5km west of Haro’s epicentre. The grapes are farmed organically they have a minimal intervention approach in the winery. The wines are bottles unfined. This approach results in wines that are really intense in flavour and full of life.
